Oral Conversation Day 9
My favorite subject in school is physical education. PE is a subject that doesn't require any studying. Its is just there for students to have fun and relax once a week, a subject that is totally out of the normal lesson, where teacher teaches for the whole hour about topics. In pe lessons, the teacher will 1st demonstrate how to do the activity to us 1st, after that we are free to try out the activities the teachers taught. I would like to study about the natural environment. There are many things undiscovered by man, and i would like to discover and learn more of our planet, and the amazing things this world have for us.

i think that not everyone should go to university. Although the respect gained from university graduates is far more than polytecnic students, some people gain the same amout of money as university graduates. Its not about which instituition you go to, is about the amout of work that is put in.

Oral Picture Day 9
The picture depicts a scene of a Biology laboratory. From the looks of the student, i think that this picture is taken in a university, as all the students looks like young adults. All of them are wearing rubber gloves, ready to do the experiments. There are many agar plates on the table, and the girl in the middle is spreading the bacteria on the plate with the spreader.

Oral Conversation Day 7
I live in woodlands street 11, blk170, and its on the fourth floor. Although i love my house alot, i do not like some things about the house. Firstly, my house is on the fourth floor, which is very low and the view from the windows is really bad. All you can see is the the back of the coffee shop to the right, and another row of flat in front. Secondly, the view from my room is bad too. All you can see from there is the back of the flats, with the the air conditioning units and hanging clothes. Other than those two, i love my house. I am a very untidy person. If you were to look at my tables, you will understand what i mean. My table is crowded with many many worksheets, and my drawers are stuffed with stuffs. Everything is a mess, and its no wonder why my parents nags at me about my room everyday. However, its is really suprising that i can tidy my room at a very fast speed, even my mothers is impressed....

Oral Picture Day 7
This picture shows a scene in a hawker centre. As seen in the picture, many adults are cleaning up the hawker centre with hose and scrubs. Those people are probably the stall owners, and they are cleaning up the hawker centre probably due to a contagious disease which is spreading. Cleaning up the hawker centre would be to prevent the disease from spreading in a crowded hawkers centre. I can infer from the many people standing outside the hawker centre that the hawker centre is a famous one. These people have come to have a meal in the hawker centre, but are dissapointed as the hawker is under cleaning.

Oral Conversation Day 5
One subject at school i enjoy is chemistry. Unlike subjects like biology and geography that requires students to memories loads of stuffs, chemistry is a subject that requires student to apply the knowledge that they learn. In order to excel in chemistry, we need to understand the different effect different chemicals will have if they were put together, and use this knowledge to answer the question in the tests. I love working with my own hands. I feel that only through experience can i learn the thing fully. Though i have learn the theory under some topics, only by doing them myself through experiments will i truly understand it. so i feel that, it is alot better learning from doing things, than reading about them....

Oral Picture Day 5
This picture shows a scene in the science lab in a school in Singapore. This can be seen from the Singapore flag on the top right hand corner of the picture. There are 5 people in the pictures, and 4 of them are wearing. I guess that the lady on the left is the teacher guiding them through the experiment. in the middle, there is a retort stand with 2 pulley hanging on it and weights hanging on the pulley below. This is probably a physics experiment where students are suppose to find out how much force is needed to lift different weights by using the pulley system. One of the student, which is blocked by the male student on the right, is recording the results of the experiment.

Oral Conversation Day 3
One competition i entered would be the oil rig competition. The competitions require the competitors to build a model semi-submersible oil rig, and use it to race other model oil rigs built by other competitors. As we thought that it was a competition that was easy to win, we joined it in hopes of winning it. We took the competition very lightly and slacked until the last week before the competition. It was only then we realized that we are way behind time, as building a model oil rig didn't seem as easy as we thought. Many factors had to be considered in order to make the rig, for example, the weight of the rig, the center of gravity and the speed of the rig. We thought that we were unable to finish it in time, so we wanted to disqualify ourselves from the competition. However, with the encouragement of our teacher-in-charge, and the help of the DNT teacher, we manage to build the oil rig in time for the competition! Although we didn't win it, we felt that it was a good experience, and hope that we can join it next year, if we were able to....

Oral Picture Day 3
This picture show a scene at the beach. 7 people can be seen from the foreground making something like a castle out of the sand on the beach. The woman on the right seems older than the rest of the 6, she probably is the teacher or guardian of the six teenagers who seems younger than her. on the top right hand corner of this picture, a young lady is burying a man in sand. I guess that they are a couple, and this way of burying people in sand is a great way to relax and have fun.

In the background there are many others making the sandcastle like in the foreground. The beach is a great place for people to let loose and enjoy themselves with their families or friend. It brings people together to have fun and do the many activities that can be done on the beach. Not only that, the beach is also a great place to distress yourself after a stressful week at work or school...
